Our hospital is located in the beautiful and temperate Ventura County, California, minutes away from the beach. Our team is seeking two dedicated and passionate boarded or board-eligible ACVIM/ACVS/ACVECC specialists to join our specialty referral hospital. We are a well-established, and tight knit group that provides emergency and outpatient medicine and surgery services to the equine community with a high standard of medical care. Our goal is to add two skilled veterinarians to help support and expand our internal medicine and surgery caseload. 

Our team currently includes two board-certified surgeons, a rotating surgery fellow, and a reproductive-focused veterinarian, and we are seeking two additional specialists to support and diversify our ever-growing caseload and share in the on-call rotation. 

At Humphrey, Giacopuzzi and Associates, our collaborative team promotes mentorship and teamwork as well as independence and work-life balance. With a primarily in-hospital caseload, the practice treats a full spectrum of equine patients from backyard pets to FEI sport horses.

Permanent positions offer negotiable starting salary of 120K plus production dependent on experience. Locum positions will offer 2-5K per week, dependent on experience, and include off-site housing and use of a practice vehicle.

The ideal candidate will be a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, or a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Board-eligible individuals are also encouraged to apply! Study time is easily negotiated. The positions are flexible and can be tailored to be either temporary (locum) or permanent.
