Duties and Responsibilities:
(This one is most important!) Enjoy and excel in a group of fellow veterinarians- be able to respectfully collaborate and follow-thru on cases keeping a team approach to ensure quality and consistency of our product- our dogs!
Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and develop appropriate courses of treatment for puppies, breeders, and training dogs enrolled in our program, in addition to employee dogs
Monitor, control and dispense medication
Ability to discuss the physical exam and diagnostic findings with the client (volunteers, trainers, and graduates of our programs) and create treatment plans to deliver the highest quality of veterinary medicine.
Maintain electronic medical records and logs to help increase the efficiency of the hospital.
Stay up-to-date with new medical information, changes in veterinary medicine, and attend Continuing Education meetings.
Assist in the development of the team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
Positively represent the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.
