We support our team members with A LOT of programs designed for personal and professional growth including:
Industry-Leading PTO Program At SVP, we like to call it TRUE PTO--because here, you can actually take personal time off without worrying about making up lost production when you get back. Production-wise it’s like you never left. Relaxation-wise, it’s a game-changer.
High Producers Bonus Eligible DVMs will earn a bonus payout of up to 10% additional production in the month after contract renewal. The bonus rate will be determined by their contracted production rate and the amount of excess production. Here, you can earn a greater share of the success you help create. And the sky is the limit!
Maternity Leave FULL PAY for four weeks. Because mamas deserve it. Plus short-term disability at 60% of your salary (six weeks for natural birth, eight weeks for C-section), and all still in addition to your PTO. (P.S. We definitely want baby pics when you’re ready to share!)
SVP Leadership Academy At SVP, we never stop investing in our people. And we’re turning our great veterinarians into great leaders, as well. This executive education experience is designed to develop your business leadership acumen to drive success around your hospital’s culture, team development, and operations. Instruction is led by a Vanderbilt University faculty member and includes a variety of guest experts and speakers.

Our brand in a nutshell: You + SVP | Amazing Together
Amazing Together encompasses SVP’s living standard of excellence as a team and the positive impact we deliver for our partners, teammates, clients, pets and communities. Our commitment to this standard is evident in the care we provide to our hospitals and the care they provide for pets. Our continued growth is a direct result of this dedication. This statement is the culmination of our WAG values and is, critically, a statement that aligns with the ambitious vision and unique culture at the heart of SVP. And we invite YOU to be a part of it all.
We live out our WAG Values on a daily basis.
Work Together: At SVP, collaboration and respect are the foundation of our culture--and of our collective success. By working together, we uncover solutions and opportunities that help elevate the team as a whole. And with our unparalleled peer network and depth of resources (think: in-house specialty referrals, a dedicated marketing squad, operations assets, and more), you always have the support that you need to do your best work (and have fun while you’re at it).
Amaze: Our mission is to amaze our clients with exceptional veterinary care and personalized client experiences, as well as to amaze our teammates with the drive to go the extra mile. We find ways to say, “yes”. And we treat others as we would like to be treated.
Grow: We always ask, “How can we do it/make it/be better?” We’re proactive in our quests for knowledge, new ways to engage our clients, and pathways for leadership and development among all of our teammates. With SVP, it’s not just a job. It’s a career.
