Bridger Veterinary Specialists and Sentinel Veterinary Specialists & Emergency are seeking a Veterinary Recruiting Manager to be responsible for performing all duties related to finding and hiring top talent for our busy specialty hospital in Bozeman and our specialty & emergency hospital in Missoula. The ideal candidate has a passion for finding the right people, developing relationships with potential employees and will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent for our two locations in Bozeman and Missoula.
This position is remote based reporting to the Hospital Administrator in the Bozeman location. This position can be based out of any area of Montana that allows for periodic travel to the Bozeman and Missoula location. This position includes travel to national veterinary events requiring evening and weekend work as needed.
Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing recruitment plans for all open positions in the hospital and will utilize our Core Values as the guide for finding the right people. This person will source, screen, and present qualified candidates to the hiring teams at both locations. Our veterinary recruiting manager will create and post job announcements to job boards and professional organizations, representing both locations at local and national Veterinary Conferences. Once a favorable candidate is found they will perform reference checking, handle all scheduling of potential team member visits to Montana and generate offer letters to hospital approved candidates.
Responsibilities of the veterinary recruiting manager:
Screen candidates by phone, video, or in-person, and submit confirmed viable talent to on-site hiring managers
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
Build networks to find qualified passive candidates; utilize social and professional sites to identify and source candidates.
Develop a pool of qualified candidates for future job vacancies.
Generate offer letters, and employment agreements for selected candidates, and notify candidates of non-selection.

Qualifications and Experience:
Two plus years’ experience in the veterinary field with recruiting experience in some capacity with proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
Ability to travel for all recruitment activities in and out of state.
Excellent computer skills
Effective oral and written communication skills and exceptional organizational skills
General knowledge of employment laws and practices
Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
