Penny Paws Animal Clinic is a group of privately owned small animal clinics in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. We have a unique opportunity for a clinic manager at our Fort Worth clinic which will be relocating to a beautiful brand new clinic in early 2022, just 1 mile from our current location. Our current clinic is a 2 Doctor practice and is well staffed with a competent technician and reception team. We have an excellent level of client care and truly celebrate the human-animal bond through our mission of helping people, helping pets.

We have our own HR department who will post job ads for you and screen potential candidates and we have our own payroll department who processes payroll. We also have a marketing firm who will assist you with marketing and social media.
Our clinic managers are responsible for providing strong leadership and mentorship to our team through accountability and encouraging cohesive communication. We strongly strive for a positive culture in our clinics and do not tolerate any drama. As clinic manager, you will be responsible for ensuring your team has continued training and is fully engaged to promote a high level of patient care.
Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic with a can-do attitude, very well organized, a self-manager and have the ability to identify solutions to challenges. Responsibilities include creating team schedules, ordering inventory, interviewing prospective candidates, managing team performance, presenting metrics and a clinic report weekly, creating a monthly P&L presentation, balancing labor/inventory costs and posting on social media. Experience of working in the veterinary industry in a leadership role is preferred.
You will have the support of our other clinic managers in addition to our Hospital Administrator and our Director of Operations. Our practice owners do not work in the clinics and are off-site, but they will visit monthly to meet with the management team.
