Newly Renovated Practice located between Pittsburgh and Cleveland seeks Veterinarian!

Austintown Veterinary Clinic in Austintown, OH is looking for a full-time veterinarian, but a part-time position would be considered for the right candidate.   We are a full-service, multi-doctor hospital that provides quality veterinary care for dogs and cats.  Our recently renovated facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic features, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, Idexx lab machines and ultrasound.  We have a separate surgery suite with a heated surgery table, a dental table with a dental prophy unit, a brand new hot dog warmer and multi-parameter surgical monitor.  Surgery experience is preferred, but not an absolute requirement. The skilled and caring support staff, which includes 4 RVT’s, are dedicated to our patients, clients, and community. 

This is an ideal opportunity for experienced veterinarians and new graduates alike.  We have excellent hours, which are 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday and 8am to noon on Saturdays.  There is no on call or after hours emergency required, which helps to provide a healthy work/life balance.  

Austintown is a growing community with a hometown feel, conveniently located between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, which allows for many amenities to explore, not the least of which is shopping, dining and various forms of entertainment.  The area is near Youngstown and Kent and their respective universities.  The Covelli center is nearby, which hosts concerts, hockey and other sporting events.  The Scrappers are also near, if you happen to enjoy baseball.  There are many golf courses very close, and parks for exploring and camping, including Mill Creek Park, Berlin Center and Lake Milton.   Whether city life or country living is your passion, you'll find easy access to both settings in this quaint township gem!
