Welcoming New Grads: Join Our Hometown Practice in an Idyllic Setting near Evansville

Fort Branch Veterinary Hospital in Fort Branch, IN is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our community-based practice. We are a busy, multi-doctor hospital that offers high-quality veterinary service for dogs and cats. We are equipped with advanced diagnostic features, including  digital radiography, ultrasound, and rigid endoscopy, as well as a new dental machine and multiple table lifts.

A new or recent graduate would flourish under the thoughtful direction of our experienced and supportive team, and we would love to provide mentorship to a new veterinarian. This is also a great opportunity for a set of veterinarians who would like to work together, as we have the capacity to hire more than one doctor simultaneously.

Our experienced and long tenured team maintains an efficient and enjoyable work environment by being proactive to the needs of our doctors, patients, and clients. We are proud of our experienced team, many of whom have been with us for more than 20 years, and includes multiple RVTs whose skill and expertise makes each day go smoothly for our doctors. Due to the high volume of clients that we see, there are a lot of interesting cases, so each day is a little difference, and a new doctor to our team will not be bored! We love a challenge and hope to work with a doctor who is as excited about learning as we are.

Our clients are wonderful, and we appreciate their loyalty and willingness to work with us on our recommendations for their pets. Most are very open to our advice on diagnostics and treatment, which makes our jobs easier and more rewarding as we are really able to do our jobs to the fullest extent possible to treat our beloved patients.

Patients are seen on a walk-in basis; no appointments are needed as only surgeries are scheduled. As this is not an emergency clinic, there are no after hour, weekend or holiday emergencies, and no on-call necessary. Our local veterinary organization is very active, and provides monthly CE opportunities, which our team members are able to take advantage of frequently.

Fort Branch is the largest town and second largest community in Gibson County, Indiana. The area has seen a great deal of development since 2000. It is located close to the city of Evansville, which includes many amenities such as shopping, dining, entertainment, and family attractions. This cultural community is a great combination of urban and rural living and has something special to offer everyone!
