Associate Veterinarian

Pamlico Animal Hospital is a small animal practice serving Washington, NC since 1978.  We are currently seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our team. Washington is a beautiful town on the Pamlico River, close to the best beaches in NC and thirty minutes from the growing city of Greenville.  We have a beautiful new state of the art 9,000 square foot facility built in 2020 featuring a new digital x-ray system, dental x-ray, special procedures suite, surgery suite and a well-equipped in-house lab.  We are still on call due to our rural location, but we have limited on call hours. We offer a competitive salary, life insurance, simple IRA, membership dues paid and fair compensation for CE every year. We pay 100% of your full coverage health insurance and vision insurance.  We are also willing to provide 1 YEAR OF FREE HOUSING in a 3 BR, 2 bath house with a fenced in backyard as part of your compensation package. We have five veterinarians with 70 years of combined experience willing to mentor new graduates and/or veterinarians with limited experience.
